Greetings!
It’s Sunday again, and that means I’m … a day late with my usual cavalcade of reading, writing, and randomness. In the spirit of violating expectations, this week’s newsletter includes a Refresher, Review Request, and Reaching Out. Let this quote set the tone:
Quote of the Week:
“The world … it asks too much, some-times, you know?”
- Merrick Sunter
The quote above, and the three R’s below, all relate to my newly released novel, The Borrowed Daughter! [cue fanfare 🥳 ]. Read on for more details about this fun, heartwarming book and how you can help it reach its audience.
Refresher:
The Borrowed Daughter tells the tale of Stella Sunter, a twelve-year-old village girl who loves to run around, play with friends, and stir up a bit of mischief. Unfortunately, she gets herself in a lot of trouble when a prank goes wrong during her kingdom’s grand parade. At first, she tries to run from the problem, but once she sees how much harm she’s done, she vows to do whatever it takes to make things right.
When the king sends Stella to a neighboring kingdom to deliver an urgent message, she looks forward to the adventure. However, the journey isn’t all fun and games; Stella encounters great challenges and serious dangers as she travels underground, through forests, and even in the sky. Will Stella break the silence between the two lands — and maybe even the one between her and her father? You’ll have to read The Borrowed Daughter to find out!
Review:
As much as I appreciate everyone who buys my books, I am truly grateful for those who leave reviews. Just like everything you buy online, books are greatly impacted by the number and quality of their reviews. Please consider leaving a review for The Borrowed Daughter or any of my books that you’ve read. It makes such a big impact! 🙏.
Reaching Out
I know my books aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. However, if you know anyone who might enjoy the stories I write, I encourage you to spread the word by gifting them a book, sending them a link to my website, or clicking this button down here 👇
Thus ends my shameless self-promotion 😊
I would greatly appreciate any feedback you'd like to provide. Feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts.
